§01 The Two Gods — What They Won't Teach You

Most people are taught there is one God and one devil — separated cleanly. Elijah Muhammad dismantles this: there are really two Gods. Jesus himself in the New Testament called the devil "the god of this world, the prince of the power of hell." This is not metaphor — the devil is a functional god who has exercised real rulership over human civilization for 6,000 years.

His rule is built on concealment. The slavemaster was always careful to hide his identity — so that the enslaved people could never identify who was God and who was the devil. Without that identification, liberation is impossible. You cannot overcome what you cannot name.

The 6,000-Year Reign

The devil has ruled this world for 6,000 years. He desires to continue. He seeks to bring every opposition possible to destroy the hearts and minds of people toward Almighty God, Allah. This is the war that is currently ending.

The Concealed Slavemaster

22 million Black people in America whose fathers were enslaved for 300 years. The slavemaster deliberately concealed himself — making it impossible for the enslaved to learn who was God and who was the devil. This is the foundational crime.

Teaching 03

Masonry Gates the Quran

In the Masonics there are teachings at the top — at the 33rd degree level — that mention Almighty God, Allah. But you must pay enormous sums to reach there. Isaiah prophesied this: "you buy that which does not bring you any gain." The gate is money.

Islam = The Open Secret

"If you are a true Muslim friend, then let's have it in the open and not in the secret." The knowledge encoded in the 33rd degree is already available — freely — in the Holy Quran. The initiation cost is zero. The only requirement is sincerity.

Teaching 05

The Hereafter Redefined

The Hereafter does not mean after death. It means after the Holy War — after Armageddon — after the war between right and wrong is concluded. We are in the years of the Hereafter right now. These days represent years, not 24-hour periods.

God Comes After Satan Is Finished

As written in Thessalonians: God comes after the working of Satan. After Satan has done all that he can do of evil, then God comes — allowing him to go to those he can, giving him freedom to try and take all people with him to hell if possible. This is the present moment.

§02 The Fig Tree Prophecy

Jesus cursed the fig tree. Elijah Muhammad decodes this as a parable of the devil's world — "this world has never produced converts to the will of Almighty God, Allah." The fig tree is the system built by the concealer. It has roots, it has branches, it appears alive — but it bears no fruit toward righteousness. Jesus saw through it and cursed it publicly.

§03 The Resurrection of the Dead

The resurrection of the dead is happening now. Not of physical bodies — but of dead minds. Black people who were cut off from the knowledge of their God, their origin, their true religion — are in the years of resurrection. The coming of Allah and the teachings of Islam to those who have been lost from their native land for 400 years means the judgment. The judgment is the awakening.

§04 What a True Mason Actually Is

A true Mason is a builder — of self, of community, of civilization. Freemasonry borrowed its highest teachings from Islam and encoded them in ritual and symbolism. The square, the compass, the all-seeing eye, the pyramid — these symbols come from a tradition that predates European Freemasonry by millennia. They point back to Egypt, to Nubia, to the original people who built the first stone architecture on earth.

§01 The Nuwbuns — Original People of Egypt

York identifies the original population of Egypt as the Nuwbuns — the Nubian/Black people who were the indigenous builders of the Nile civilization. "Sawdeh" — meaning Black, Blackness — was the original descriptor of the Egyptian people. The mainstream historical narrative has separated "Nubian" from "Egyptian" in a way that York argues is artificial and intentional.

The Nuwbuns were a working people. Egyptian warriors won many battles and their rulers controlled wide areas. Their achievements: stone architecture (the first on earth), papyrus (the first writing material), geometry, surgery, astronomy, government administration, and the foundational theology of life after death.

The House of Ptah → Egypt

The word "Egypt" derives from "Hiku-Ptah" — "House of Ptah." Memphis was the first capital. Greeks heard "Hiku-Ptah" and rendered it "Aigyptos" which became "Egypt." The original name connects to Ptah — the creator deity of Memphis — the first god of creation in the African tradition.

Papyrus — The First Internet

Papyrus (from the Sudan/Nile delta) was the world's first convenient writing material. Before papyrus, knowledge was carved in stone. With papyrus, knowledge became portable, tradeable, archivable. The library of Alexandria — the greatest knowledge repository ever destroyed — was built on papyrus.

Hieroglyphics — Holy Carvings

Hiero (holy) + Glyph (to carve). Not just pictures — hieroglyphs are a sophisticated system of sound-signs, semiconsonants, and determinatives. York describes them as hundreds of forms covering one end of Egyptian monuments. "The Ruler of Life" — the Ankh — is a hieroglyph that predates every other civilization's life symbol.

The Ka — Soul Science

The Ka is the Egyptian concept of the animating spiritual double — the soul that lives beyond the body. York connects the Ka directly to the Islamic concept of the Ruh (spirit breathed into Adam by Allah) and the Nafs (the self/soul that is accountable). One continuous metaphysics from Egypt to Islam.

The Scribe — Most Sacred Profession

In Egypt, the scribe was the most important profession. They had to study hard — they were the keepers of all recorded knowledge. Government, measurement, correspondence, maps, topography — all went through the scribe class. The first information gatekeepers — and they were Black African scholars.

Ziggurats and Cuneiform

York extends Egypt into Mesopotamia — the Ziggurats (truncated pyramid-temples meaning "Summit") of Akkadia and Sumer as architectural cousins of the Egyptian pyramid. Cuneiform writing as the Akkadian/Chaldean parallel to hieroglyphics. The same people, spreading eastward, carrying the knowledge with them.

§02 Al-Khidr — The Green One

York invokes Al-Khidr (الخضر) — one of the most mysterious figures in the Islamic tradition. He appears in Surah Al-Kahf as the teacher of Moses, possessing knowledge that Moses himself did not yet comprehend. Al-Khidr is described as having been given mercy and knowledge "from Our presence" (Quran 18:65) — direct divine transmission, not learned knowledge.

York's placement of Al-Khidr in the Egypt scroll is not accidental. He is identifying the continuity: from the original Black African knowledge-keepers of Egypt, through Mesopotamia, through Al-Khidr, into the Quranic tradition. One unbroken chain of transmitted esoteric science.

§03 Pangaea and the Original Migration

York covers continental drift — before the tectonic separation of Pangaea ("Whole Earth"), the landmasses that became Africa, America, and Eurasia were connected. This is not just geology — it is origin science. The original people who inhabited Africa were also the original inhabitants of what became the Americas and other separated continents. The migration story is not from Africa outward — it is from one connected land mass, separated by the drift.

§05 What Was Destroyed at Alexandria

York references the Library of Alexandria and the arrowhead types, the light house — "The Ruler of Life." The destruction of the Alexandrian Library represents the most catastrophic loss of African knowledge in human history. Estimates suggest 400,000 to 700,000 scrolls. Everything that was known about the Nuwbun civilization — medical science, astronomy, mathematics, esoteric theology — most of it was in those scrolls. What we have left are fragments, encoded in later texts, in Freemasonry, in Sufi orders, in the Quran itself.

Earthing and the Sun

A full peer-reviewed academic text that assembles the complete historical, ethnobotanical, and pharmacological record of Cannabis sativa across ancient civilizations. What emerges is unmistakable: this plant was central to every advanced civilization on earth — China, Egypt, Judea, Scythia, Greece, Rome — and its criminalization is a modern invention, less than 100 years old.

§01 Ancient China — The Oldest Medical Record

The Chinese herbal attributed to Emperor Shen Nung (3rd millennium BC) is the oldest medical text in the world. It describes cannabis as treatment for rheumatism, gynecological disorders, absentmindedness, and malaria. China was so connected to this plant that Emperor Wang Mang's currency collapse (9-23 AD) was partially stabilized using hemp as a form of payment.

The most striking Chinese record: Surgeon Hoa-tho (220 AD) used cannabis wine (Ma-Yo) as a full surgical anesthetic — enabling laparotomies (abdominal surgery), splenectomies (spleen removal), and other invasive procedures. The text records: "he administered a preparation of hemp (Ma-Yo) and, in the course of several minutes, an [anesthetic state]... he performed the opening, the incision or the amputation... After a certain number of days or the end of the month the patient finds he has recovered."

§02 Ancient Egypt — The Ebers Papyrus

The Ebers Papyrus (16th century BC) is the oldest surviving original document mentioning cannabis. The hieroglyph "shemshemet" represents cannabis — a plant cited as both a source of fiber and medicine. Administration methods: oral ingestion, enema, eye preparation, medicated bandage, vaginal application, and fumigant. Egypt's medical sophistication was comprehensive and plant-based.

Mummy Hair Analysis

Hair from Egyptian mummies dating to 1070 BC tested at 800-4100 ng/g cannabis concentration. Modern German heavy users test at 2-1000 ng/g. The elite class — the only people who were mummified — had cannabis levels higher than today's heaviest users. This was deliberate, systematic, high-dose plant medicine use among the ruling class.

Oral ingestion, enema, eye preparation, medicated bandage, vaginal application, fumigant (for ritual/religious use). This is not recreational — this is a complete pharmaceutical system. Egypt had a mature, multi-route cannabis medicine protocol 3,500 years ago. The "shemshemet" hieroglyph appears across multiple medical papyri.

Religious and Ritual Use

Cannabis used in incense may reveal association with religious ritual — possibly to produce what the text calls "quasi-religious" experiences. The connection between plant medicine and spiritual access is consistent across every ancient tradition. What is called "intoxication" in modern terms was called "vision" or "revelation" in ancient contexts.

§03 The Bible — The Hidden Reference

There are no obvious references to cannabis in the Bible — but the neighboring Assyrians used it widely for impotence, depression, bruises, arthritis, and to ward off evil. The Assyrians and Israelites were in close contact until the late 7th century BC. Scholar Raphael Mechoulam identifies Ezekiel 27:17 as possibly containing the word:

"Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm." (Ezekiel 27:17) — "Pannag" is linguistically related to Sanskrit "bhanga," Hindu "bhang," Persian "bang" — all meaning cannabis. — Ezekiel 27:17 / Cannabis: The Genus Cannabis analysis

Mechoulam further speculates that King Josiah, seeking to purge Assyrian influences from Jewish culture in the late 7th century BC, may have removed existing cannabis references from the Old Testament. Some scholars connect certain vivid biblical visions — including the madness of King Saul — to cannabis experiences. Homer's "nepenthe" drug given to Helen of Troy by an Egyptian — which made all sorrow and anger vanish — may also have been cannabis.

§04 Scythia — Archaeological Confirmation

The Greek historian Herodotus (5th century BC) personally witnessed Scythian funerary cannabis ritual during his travels through the Black Sea region. He described it precisely: red-hot stones in a tent, cannabis seeds thrown on them, Scythians inside "delighted, shout for joy" as the vapor fills the space. He compared it favorably to Greek steam baths.

In the 1940s, archaeological excavations at Pazyryk in Siberia — thousands of miles from where Herodotus witnessed the ritual — unearthed copper vessels containing the remains of burned cannabis, together with the stones used to heat them. Herodotus was vindicated 2,500 years later by archaeology.

The Dacians (neighboring Thrace) had a class called kapnobatai — "smoke walkers" — possibly priests who used cannabis smoke as a spiritual technology. This is the oldest documented professional use of plant medicine for consciousness navigation.

§05 The Plant Itself

The most important text excluded from the official Bible. Quoted directly in Jude 14-15. Preserved in Ethiopia when the Western Church destroyed all copies.

§01 Why This Book Was Removed

The Book of Enoch was read widely in first-century Palestine. The community at Qumran (the Dead Sea Scrolls) had more copies of Enoch than any other text. Jude, the brother of Jesus, quotes it directly by name in his epistle. Jesus's own use of "Son of Man" as a title comes directly from the Parables of Enoch — the specific Messianic figure who sits on the Throne of Glory and judges all kings.

The 4th-century Church councils removed it. The reason is precise: if Enoch taught the Son of Man doctrine before Jesus — and if Jesus was drawing on a tradition that predates him by 200 years — then the claim to unique divine origin is complicated. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church never accepted the removal. They kept the Book of Enoch in their canon for 2,000 years.

Teaching 01

The Watchers — Origin of Hidden Knowledge

Two hundred angels descended to Mount Hermon. They taught humanity: metallurgy, weapons, cosmetics, astrology, enchantments, cloud-reading, and the cutting of roots and plants. The transmission of knowledge — including forbidden knowledge — came from the angelic realm. Enoch is the intercessor between the fallen Watchers and the Divine — their petition is refused.

The Son of Man — Pre-Christian Messiah

Named before the sun and stars were made. Seated on the Throne of Glory before the foundation of the world. All kings and rulers will bow before him. He is the Elect One who judges the watchers, the fallen, and the powerful of the earth. This figure appears in Chapters 37-71 — written approximately 100 BC, before Jesus. Matthew 25:31-46 is a direct rewriting of Enoch 62.

The Heavenly Tablets — Predestination and Record

Everything that occurs in history is written in the Heavenly Tablets before it happens. The times, seasons, and periods of world history are predetermined. The 24 elders (24 Scientists in NOI language; 24 Elders in Revelation) maintain this record. Nothing occurs outside the ordained pattern. The Apocalyptist's role is to read what is already written — not to predict, but to reveal.

The Astronomy — Solar Time vs. Lunar Time

The year is 364 days — exactly 52 weeks. Time must be calculated by the sun, not the moon. Those who follow the lunar calendar are "sinning in the reckoning of time" — celebrating sacred occasions at the wrong moment. The luminaries of heaven (sun, stars) never deviate from their orbits. Cosmic order is exact. Only human beings deviate.

The Apocalypse of Weeks — Where We Are

The entire history of the world divided into 10 cosmic "weeks." Week 8 = the week of the sword, judgment, and the acquisition of knowledge by the righteous. Week 9 = righteous judgment written into the whole world. Week 10 = the eternal judgment and new heaven. According to the sequential structure, we are in the transitional period between the 8th and 9th week right now.

Teaching 06

Resurrection and the New Heaven

The earth will give back what was entrusted to it. Sheol (the realm of the dead) will give back what it received. The righteous dead will rise, clothed in garments of glory that do not grow old. The wicked will be destroyed — not eternally tormented, but annihilated. After the Final Judgment: a new heaven and new earth. These teachings are in Enoch 150 years before Paul writes them in 1 Corinthians 15.

"But with the righteous He will make peace, And will protect the elect, And mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to God, And they shall be prospered, And they shall all be blessed. §02 The Cosmic Law — Order vs. Deviation

Chapter 2 of Enoch delivers one of the most precise ethical statements in any scripture: "Observe ye everything that takes place in the heaven, how they do not change their orbits... Behold the earth, and give heed to the things which take place upon it — how none of the things upon earth change, all the works of God appear to you. But ye — ye have not been steadfast, nor done the commandments of the Lord."

The sun rises in order. The seasons change in order. The trees lose their leaves and regrow in order. The sea stays within its appointed bounds. Creation operates in perfect discipline. The only disorder in the universe is human beings who deviate from their own nature. The law is not external punishment — it is the natural consequence of deviation from cosmic order.

Noble Drew Ali's foundational insight was not theological — it was psychological and legal. A person without a nationality has no standing. A person without a known origin has no claim. Yetzirah — The Astral / Formation Plane

The Mother Plane. The astral plane "becomes impregnated by all consciousness seeds and gives birth to a physical event." This is the plane of dreams, trance, meditation, emotion, and creation. All physical things are born here first as patterns. Virgin Isis, Virgin Mary — mother goddesses — represent this plane. Spiritual development must begin here.

Briyah — The Creative Plane

The plane of archetypes. Where patterns are first conceived before descending into Yetzirah for formation and Assiah for manifestation. The plane of the great prophets and sages — those who receive the archetypal pattern before it appears in the world.

Atziluth — The Archetypal/Divine Plane

Pure divine emanation. The source plane. The "Supreme Ruler of the Universe" operates here — mastery of the astrological configurations (the patterns that govern ordinary consciousness). Only those who have dissolved the ego (3 breaths/min) and passed through Yetzirah and Briyah access this plane.

§01 Taqwa — The Foundation Skill

Before any school, before any lesson, before any content — Taqwa. The Arabic root wa-ka-ya means shield. Taqwa is the shield against wrongdoing built from God-consciousness. It is not fear in the sense of terror — it is the perpetual, calibrated awareness of Allah's presence in every thought, word, and action. Farrakhan calls it "the self-accusing spirit" — the inner voice that speaks before you act wrongly, that warns, guides, reproves.

The thorny-bush analogy (from Umar and Kaab): Taqwa is moving through a path of thorns so carefully that not a single thread of your cloak is torn. Complete present-moment awareness. Complete sensitivity to consequence. This is not paralysis — it is mastery. When the Prophet was asked where Taqwa lives, he pointed to his chest. It is a state of the heart, not an external rule system.

Theological Studies — First of All Studies

The lens through which all other knowledge is viewed. Natural Theology (knowing God through nature), Liberation Theology (freedom, justice, equality as divine mandate), Practical Theology (Nation Building). Departments: Islamic Studies, World Religions, Metaphysics and Cosmogony (the self-creation of the First God, the origin of the universe, causality).

Mathematical Theology — Truth as Number

Arithmetic through calculus to numerology. Then: Egyptian Ancient Mystery Systems of Numbers, the I-Ching, Abjad Numerals, Ancient Numerical Studies. "Islam is synonymous with Mathematics — the root of Mathematics is Truth." §04 The Self-Creation Cosmology

The Supreme Wisdom Curriculum contains the most detailed cosmological account of creation from the NOI tradition. It maps directly to modern physics (dark matter, dark energy, electromagnetic force, quantum mechanics) while maintaining its metaphysical framework:

Before the Beginning: Consciousness (Spirit/Soul) in absolute darkness. Dark Matter = the Atom. Dark Energy = Electricity. Substantive Darkness = the Black Hole. Time frozen in darkness. The Creator Allah visions the perfection of Himself and His Creation 78 trillion years ahead — then works backward from that vision.

Creation Begins: Thought (electro-chemical process) projects onto matter through the Will (Power = Work done in Time). This creates the Electro-Magnetic Force — defined as LOVE (Rahmat-Rahman). This force causes Vibration, which produces Sound: "Be!" (And it IS/EXISTS). The Atom rotates. Heat is produced. Light forms within the Atom. The Universe begins. First Law: Movement.

The Sun: "The Sun burst forth from darkness and dispels the darkness (ignorance). Truth is made manifest from falsehood. The brain is made on the order of truth and made to think rightly. Chapter I

The Blessing of Enoch

1. The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed.

2. And he took up his parable and said — Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.

3. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them: The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling.

4. And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, even on Mount Sinai, and appear from His camp, and appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

5. And all shall be smitten with fear. And the Watchers shall quake, and great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.

6. And the high mountains shall be shaken, and the high hills shall be made low, and shall melt like wax before the flame.

7. And the earth shall be wholly rent in sunder, and all that is upon the earth shall perish, and there shall be a judgement upon all men.

8. But with the righteous He will make peace, and will protect the elect, and mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to God, and they shall be prospered, and they shall all be blessed. And He will help them all, and light shall appear unto them, and He will make peace with them.

9. And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of holy ones to execute judgement upon all, and to destroy the ungodly: and to convict all flesh of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

Chapters II–V

The Law of Cosmic Order

II:1. Observe ye everything that takes place in the heaven, how they do not change their orbits — the luminaries which are in the heaven, how they all rise and set in order each in its season, and transgress not against their appointed order.

II:2. Behold ye the earth, and give heed to the things which take place upon it from first to last, how steadfast they are, how none of the things upon earth change — all the works of God appear to you.

III. Observe and see how in the winter all the trees seem as though they had withered and shed all their leaves, except fourteen trees, which do not lose their foliage but retain the old foliage from two to three years till the new comes.

V:1. Observe how the trees cover themselves with green leaves and bear fruit: wherefore give ye heed and know with regard to all His works, and recognize how He that liveth for ever hath made them so.

V:2. And His works go on thus from year to year for ever, and all the tasks which they accomplish for Him change not — but according as He hath ordained so is it done.

V:4. But ye — ye have not been steadfast, nor done the commandments of the Lord, but ye have turned away and spoken proud and hard words with your impure mouths against His greatness. O ye hard-hearted, ye shall find no peace.

V:7–8. But for the elect there shall be light and joy and peace, and they shall inherit the earth. And then there shall be bestowed upon the elect wisdom, and they shall all live and never again sin. And they who are wise shall be humble.

Chapter VI

The Watchers Descend

1. And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters.

2. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.'

3. And Semjâzâ, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.'

4–5. And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it.

6. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it.

7. And these are the names of their leaders: Sêmîazâz their leader, Arâkîba, Râmêêl, Kôkabîêl, Tâmîêl, Râmîêl, Dânêl, Êzêqêêl, Barâqîjâl, Asâêl, Armârôs, Batârêl, Anânêl, Zaqîêl, Samsâpêêl, Satarêl, Tûrêl, Jômjâêl, Sariêl. These are their chiefs of tens.

Chapter VII

The Giants — The Nephilim

1. And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants.

2. And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells.

3–4. Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind.

5–6. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

Chapter VIII

The Forbidden Knowledge Transmitted

1. And Azâzêl taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures.

2. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways.

Semjâzâ taught enchantments and root-cuttings. Kôkabêl taught astrology. Ezêqêêl taught the knowledge of the clouds. Araqiêl taught the signs of the earth. Shamsiêl taught the signs of the sun. Sariêl taught the course of the moon.

And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven.

Chapter IX

Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel Witness

1. And then Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel looked down from heaven and saw much blood being shed upon the earth, and all lawlessness being wrought upon the earth.

2. And they said one to another: 'The earth, made without inhabitant, cries — the voice of their crying goes up to the gates of heaven.'

6–7. And Thou knowest all things before they come to pass, and Thou seest these things and Thou dost suffer them, and Thou dost not say to us what we are to do to them in regard to these. Then said the Most High, the Holy and Great One, and sent one of the holy angels.

10. The whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azâzêl: to him ascribe all sin.

Chapter X

The Judgment — Noah Warned

1–2. Then said the Most High, the Holy and Great One, and sent Uriel to the son of Lamech and said to him: 'Go to Noah and tell him in my name "Hide thyself!" and reveal to him the end that is approaching: that the whole earth will be destroyed, and a deluge is about to come upon the whole earth, and will destroy all that is on it.'

4–6. And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azâzêl hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dûdâêl, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light.'

11–12. And destroy all the spirits of the reprobate and the children of the Watchers, because they have wronged mankind. Destroy all wrong from the face of the earth and let every evil work come to an end: and let the plant of righteousness and truth appear.

17. And now I tell thee, son of man, all the paths of righteousness and peace. And righteousness shall in those days return unto them, and they shall be planted with every good and gracious tree, and they shall plant vines; and the vine they plant shall yield wine in abundance, and as for all the seed which is sown, each measure shall bear a thousand, and each measure of olives shall yield ten presses of oil.

Chapter XIV

Enoch's Vision of Heaven

1–2. The book of the words of righteousness, and of the reprimand of the eternal Watchers in accordance with the command of the Holy Great One in that vision. I saw in my sleep what I will now say with a tongue of flesh and with the breath of my mouth: which the Great One has given to men to converse therewith and understand with the heart.

8–9. And I looked and saw therein a lofty throne: its appearance was as crystal, and the wheels thereof as the shining sun, and there was the vision of cherubim. And from underneath the throne came streams of flaming fire so that I could not look thereon.

20. And the Great Glory sat thereon, and His raiment shone more brightly than the sun and was whiter than any snow.

22. And the Lord called me with His own mouth, and said to me: 'Come hither, Enoch, and hear my word.' And one of the holy ones came to me and waked me, and He made me rise up and approach the door: and I bowed my face downwards.

Chapter XV

God Speaks to Enoch

1. And He answered and said to me, and I heard His voice: 'Fear not, Enoch, thou righteous man and scribe of righteousness: approach hither and hear my voice.'

2–3. 'And go, say to the Watchers of heaven, who have sent thee to intercede for them: "You should intercede for men, and not men for you: wherefore have ye left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, and lain with women, and defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and taken to yourselves wives, and done like the children of earth, and begotten giants as your sons?"

6–7. Ye were formerly spiritual, living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world. And therefore I have not appointed wives for you; for as for the spiritual ones of the heaven, in heaven is their dwelling. And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling.

11. And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them.

Chapter XLVI

The Son of Man — Pre-Christian Messiah

1. And there I saw One who had a head of days, and His head was white like wool, and with Him was another being whose countenance had the appearance of a man.

2. And I asked the angel who went with me and showed me all the hidden things, concerning that Son of Man, who he was, and whence he was, and why he went with the Head of Days? And he answered and said unto me: This is the Son of Man who hath righteousness, with whom dwelleth righteousness, and who reveals all the treasures of that which is hidden, because the Lord of Spirits hath chosen him.

3. And this Son of Man whom thou hast seen — He will put down the kings and the mighty from their seats, and the strong from their thrones. And He shall loosen the reins of the strong, and grind to powder the teeth of the sinners.

4–5. And He shall put down the kings from their thrones and kingdoms because they do not extol and praise Him, nor humbly acknowledge whence the kingdom was bestowed upon them. And He shall put down the countenance of the strong, and shall fill them with shame. And darkness shall be their dwelling, and worms shall be their bed, and they shall have no hope of rising from their beds, because they do not extol the name of the Lord of Spirits.

Chapter XLVIII

The Fountain of Wisdom — Named Before Creation

1. And in that place I saw the fountain of righteousness which was inexhaustible: and around it were many fountains of wisdom; and all the thirsty drank of them, and were filled with wisdom.

2–3. And at that hour that Son of Man was named in the presence of the Lord of Spirits, and his name before the Head of Days. Yea, before the sun and the signs were created, before the stars of the heaven were made, His name was named before the Lord of Spirits.

4. He shall be a staff to the righteous whereon to stay themselves and not fall, and he shall be the light of the Gentiles, and the hope of those who are troubled of heart.

6–7. For this reason hath he been chosen and hidden before Him, before the creation of the world and for evermore. And the wisdom of the Lord of Spirits hath revealed him to the holy and righteous; for he hath preserved the lot of the righteous, because they have hated and despised this world of unrighteousness, and have hated all its works and ways in the name of the Lord of Spirits.

Chapter LXII

The Throne of Glory — Judgment of the Kings

1. And thus the Lord commanded the kings and the mighty and the exalted, and those who dwell on the earth, and said: 'Open your eyes and lift up your horns if ye are able to recognize the Elect One.'

5. And one portion of them shall look on the other, and they shall be terrified, and they shall be downcast of countenance, and pain shall seize them, when they see that Son of Man sitting on the throne of his glory.

14. And the righteous and elect shall have risen from the earth, and shall have ceased to be of downcast countenance. And they shall have been clothed with garments of glory, and they shall be the garments of life from the Lord of Spirits: and your garments shall not grow old, nor your glory pass away before the Lord of Spirits.

16. And all the mighty and the kings shall fall down before him on their faces, and shall worship and set their hope upon that Son of Man, and petition him and supplicate for mercy at his hands.
